Academic Pentathlon at SOCES has finally been formed! It’s essentially Academic Decathlon’s middle school counterpart. In Academic Pentathlon, teams of students are pitted against each other from various schools to test their knowledge of 5 subjects: Math, Science, Music/Art, History, and English. Once the teams have been created, they will be meeting after school on Mondays and Thursdays for 2 and a half hours at a time. Currently, the team is in need of students with B or C grade averages. For more information, talk to Ms. Massingil or Ms. Kaur in rooms 509 and 504 respectively.
