One of the most important factors in any individual's life is art. No matter what the form is, it will always connect people together and allow artists to express themselves. SOCES celebrated this by hosting a Spring Concert, presented by the instrumental music department. The concert was held in Glen Hall on April 13th and 14th. Both days, the concert was held at 7:00 PM. Tickets were available online using the QR code on schoology updates. Prices were $10 to get in and promo codes were applicable online.

On the days of the concert, all SOCES programs performed. Bands such as wind ensemble, junior band, jazz band and symphonic band performed. “The show was great. Everything went according to plan and all the kids did a wonderful job playing,” Mr. Turner said. The bands played popular songs such as Sir Duke by Stevie Wonder and Hit The Road Back by Ray Charles.

The bands did a wonderful job playing for a wonderful crowd and spreading the joys of music. Thank you SOCES Knights for the amazing shows and we hope to see you again at events moving forward!
