In the past month, the Miami Dolphins have been in the spotlight within the NFL community due to the recent news about their two star players Tyreek Hill, who was recently put in handcuffs, and Tua Tagovailoa, who suffered his third concussion.

Tyreek Hill was recently pulled over for allegedly speeding and reckless driving. He was then told to get out of his car and when he was not complying with the officer's orders, he was pulled out of his car, put in handcuffs, and shoved to the ground. Tyreek stated that he was complying slowly due to a knee injury and that things may have ended very differently if he wasn't a public figure. Dolphins cornerback Campell, who was with Tyreek at the time, was also put in cuffs when attempting to de-escalate the situation. Hill then went on to play against the Jaguars that same day and made a speedy 80-yard touchdown.

The Dolphins’ curse didn't just end with Tyreek. About a week later, the Dolphins got thrashed by the Buffalo Bills in a game resulting in a 31 - 10 loss. But worst of all, their QB Tua got his third concussion. Tua’s concussion caused fans to spiral out of control, demanding that Tua retires and caused the coaches to worry that their star would shoot no more. Luckily for the Dolphins, Tua has decided not to retire but is on a 4 week leave, which has caused the Dolphins’ performance to drop significantly. The Dolphins scored one free-kick against the Seahawks on the 22nd of September which caused them to lose 24-3, the lowest they've ever scored against the Seahawks. This proved that without Tua on the field to make those tight passes, the receivers don't have a chance to get near the 10 yard line.

In a September 22 game against the Seahawks, (the Dolphins’ first in Tua’s absence) they scored one free kick against their opponents. This led to a record 24-3 loss against the Seahawks proving that the Dolphins don't have a chance at hitting the 10 yard line without Tua. All the Dolphins fans can do right now is send their prayers towards Tua and be prepared for him to come back and make those game winning throws.
