October Spirit Week! (10/23-10/27)

As Halloween is coming up soon, SOCES is holding another spirit week! Spirit Week is from October 23rd to the 27th, and is not just any ordinary week. This special week offers a chance for everyone to get together and support the school while wearing different styles of clothing each day!
On Monday, October 23, students are welcome to dress up in a signal-vibrant color as part of Monochrome Monday. Tuesday, the 24th, brings us Mismatch Tuesday, an invitation to show your creativity by wearing mismatched pairs of your favorite shoes, socks, and more. It's Barbie-Heimer Day on Wednesday, a lovely mix of Barbie and Oppenheimer themes. Participants in both movies have the option of joining together and showing their individual personalities. It's nice to get out of bed and go to school in your jammies on Thursday since it's "Sleepover Thursday." This is a day to wear comfortable PJ’s while still going to school. The week comes to a close on Friday with Scary Movie Friday, when you're inspired to attend school dressed as your preferred horror movie character.
Rima Baaryan, a 7th Grader at SOCES, stated, “I am so excited for Sleepover Thursday because I don’t need to get ready in the morning.” The purpose of spirit week is to be creative and display school passion. So let's show up with excitement and welcome the wonderful themes that each day brings to make this week one to remember!
