Grace Rosa and Jason Oe were crowned SOCES Homecoming Queen and King at this year’s Homecoming dance, capping off an evening filled with music, dancing, and school spirit. The rest of the Homecoming Court was also announced, recognizing students from all four grade levels.
Representing the junior class were Princess Mahlia Gordon and Prince Aleksandr Sosyan. The sophomore court included Duchess Mia Tokutake and Duke Ethan Pham, while the freshman class was represented by Lady Allie Martinez and Lord Edgar De Alba Gomez.
This year’s Homecoming, themed “Starry Nights,” brought students together for a night of music, friends, and fun. As students arrived, they were greeted by Mr. Smiley and members of the Class of 2027, who sold pizza, chips, soda, and candy at the concession stand to raise money for upcoming senior events.
Inside, the DJ kept the energy up with a playlist that quickly filled the dance floor. Students spent nearly two hours dancing and singing along before heading outside for a break and some fresh air. Soon after, everyone gathered for the announcement of the Homecoming Court, one of the night’s biggest highlights.
From the packed dance floor to the excitement of the court reveal, Starry Nights gave SOCES students another memorable Homecoming celebration.
